Stare Juchy is an ideal place for active tourism all year round (water sports, hiking, biking, horse riding and winter sports). There are 28 lakes in the municipality. Stare Juchy belong to the oldest village in the eastern part of Mazurian.

 

Gościniec Na Wzgórzu is a great base for exploring:

- Ruins of the castle of the Teutonic Knights in Ełk,

- The Fortress in Giżycko,

- Jewish Synagogue in Tykocin,

- "Wilczy Szaniec" - Hitler's headquarters in Gierłoży
